The big hunt

We go Christmas tree hunting every year after Thanksgiving. We pack a picnic, bundle up and hunt for the perfect kill to proudly display in our living rooms for the holiday season. It is so much fun and it really sparks the Christmas spirit. Since Josh and I are a little in limbo, we didn't get a tree this year... we just borrowed a fake one from a friend. Pathetic, I know. We will most likely always have real trees, so I didn't want to buy one. Emily and my mom found great trees and I was very green with envy, but I guess there's always next year. Enjoy the slideshow!
P.S. I have to mention that the Il Divo Christmas CD is FABULOUS! I had to add a track to my playlist. Enjoy!

Oh how we wish we could have a real tree too. I did get some room spray to make my house smell like "real tree". It makes me feel a little better! Merry Christmas

What a fun post! And a fun tradition! We have a pre lit fake tree we got for $50 a few years ago, and I love it. What are you in limbo about? fill me in!

We love your music and the wonderful snowflakes falling around the pictures of your family! We can't afford a real tree...thankfully Larry has had a fake one since before we got married. So, we just pull it out every year and burn an evergreen scented candle!
Love you guys!!!
