A is for Apple

The boys are always doing things that make me smile. To explain this picture, I have to explain two things: First, they love to play school with me and even with just each other. Second, I have decided that they are old enough to just sit quietly at church and that they don't need things to occupy their time, but I don't mind if they want to draw. Well, on Sunday, towards the end of sacrament meeting, Kimball asked me if I would, "write the big and little alphabet." So, I quickly wrote it down for him and didn't give it much thought. About five minutes later he had this to show me:
For translation: Apple for A, Balloon for B, Car for C. Next, E and D are together. The person over the circles, is a person who Died, and their body left the Earth. A Floating person for F, Go sign for G, Hat, Igloo, (no J), Kite, Licorice, Milk, Note, Octopus, Pumpkin, Queen. R, S and T are together. You have to look from the right to the left. It's a Turtle going Slowly to the Runway. Next again U, V, and W together: Wall-E with a Violin going Up (note the line under Wall-E marking where he'd already been, heehee). X and Y are an X-Ray of "you" and Zebra for Z. What a cute kiddo. I guess I'll keep him!

I wish my kids were there. They're not. Does anyone else fill this way... When I bring a treat or snack it causes more problems so I've quit bringing them.

Way to go. NOt only does he know his alphabet and what pictures match each letter but he also sits quietly during church. He must have a good mom.
