"'Our family’s faith is in Jesus Christ and is not dependent on outcomes.' ...We do all that we can for the healing of a loved one, and then we trust in the Lord for the outcome."

Ox Park

So, I am really mad right now because I just typed up a little story about our week at Ox Park and Besnon pushed the Esc key on my computer and it totally deleted EVERYTHING! GRRR... So, I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves. Yes, the boys spent all kinds of time playing in the water. Yes, Benson climbed on to my dad and mom's camp trailer (three times actually). Yes, Kimball wanted to keep the fish as a pet and McKay wanted to eat it (it turned into quite the discussion, so I told them it was too skinny and to throw it back, I wasn't their favorite after that). Yes, they played with all sorts of bugs. And yes, even though we all took our turn with the stomach flu, we loved every minute of camping.

Kimball's words

I will try to add pictures and be better about keeping up, but for now I just wanted to write down a few more words to add to the Kimball Dictionary of the English Language:
Crunches: two supports used to help you after you have fallen on your bike and you can't walk right because your knee is hurt. (aka: crutches)
Directives: the list of words that comes in a new toy to teach you how to play with it. (aka: directions)
Goblin: a large cup used as an award or symbol (aka: goblet)
Inliens: creatures from outer-space (aka: aliens)
Stay tuned for more to surely come...

GARGLES anyone?

There is so much going on right now, I know I've posted about how our lives have been crazy lately, but things really have gotten even more intense. To forget the world and just relax away all the emotion and stress, there's always swimming!
The boys love to swim at my mom's. They are little fish and could swim all day every day. Every morning they ask if we are going to swim at Grammy's. They also love to swim with their "gargles." Kimball especially likes to look under the water and is always telling McKay to do different things under water so he can watch with his gargles. Here are a few more pictures from this evening's swim:

Benson is not afraid at all. The crazier the better. He likes his brother to dunk him under the water!
McKay says that swimming at Grammy's is the greatest thing ever!
Kimball is getting really good at swimming and holding his breath under water.
Dad makes a great swim gym! The boys love it when Josh gets in with them.

It is amazing what some gargles, a little water, and sunshine can do for a person!
